About

I'm a software engineer, systems architect, and founder with over 15 years of experience building enterprise-grade systems across Europe and the Middle East.

My career spans full-stack development, cloud architecture, and AI integration. I have worked on early startup builds and complex enterprise platforms. These systems handle millions of requests in production. I have led engineering teams and designed multi-tenant SaaS products. I build production AI systems using RAG, agentic workflows, and multi-agent orchestration.

I founded Oronts in Munich in 2023. The goal was a development agency that prioritizes client ownership and architectural clarity. My approach rejects black-box platforms, artificial vendor dependencies, and short-term thinking.

My technical expertise includes React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, Go, AWS, and modern AI/ML frameworks. I hold deep knowledge in headless commerce (Vendure, Pimcore), data engineering, and cloud-native architectures.

I work directly with CTOs, founders, and engineering leads. They think in years, not quarters. Together we build systems designed to outlast the teams that created them.

Before founding Oronts, I worked as a senior engineer and architect across Germany and the Middle East. I built e-commerce platforms processing thousands of transactions daily. I designed data pipelines handling terabytes of structured and unstructured data. I led distributed teams of up to fifteen people across multiple time zones. These experiences taught me the real challenges enterprises face when adopting new technology. Organizational resistance, legacy constraints, and regulatory requirements are constant factors. The pressure to deliver quickly without sacrificing quality never stops.

My early career was shaped by hands-on work across the full technology stack. I wrote backend services in Java and Python. Then I moved into cloud infrastructure on AWS. I designed and operated production systems at scale. I adopted containerization and Kubernetes early. I built CI/CD pipelines that cut deployment times from days to minutes. This breadth lets me evaluate technology decisions from multiple angles. I assess whether solutions integrate well with existing systems. I check whether they scale under load and stay maintainable as teams change.

Career Background

My path into technology began with a fascination for building reliable systems. I started programming in my early teens, creating small tools and websites. I quickly progressed to complex systems as I entered the professional world. Over the years, I have worked across e-commerce, logistics, financial services, and healthcare technology. This gave me exposure to a wide range of technical challenges and business domains.

A defining experience was leading the rebuild of a large multi-tenant e-commerce platform. It served retailers across multiple European markets. The project required migrating a legacy monolith to modern microservices. We maintained uninterrupted service for active customers throughout. The work took eighteen months across four countries. I coordinated with development teams, product managers, and external partners. It taught me the value of incremental migration strategies. Comprehensive automated testing and clear communication with stakeholders proved essential.

Technical Philosophy

Good software architecture is defined by what it makes easy to change. Every architectural decision creates constraints for future teams. I prioritize simplicity, clear boundaries, and well-documented interfaces. Clever abstractions and premature optimization create more problems than they solve.

I am skeptical of technology hype cycles. I avoid adopting new tools before they prove themselves in production. At the same time, I invest heavily in understanding emerging technologies. AI and machine learning receive particular attention. When a technology is ready, I deploy it with confidence. The systems I design are built on proven foundations. They remain adaptable to new capabilities as those mature.

I hold strong opinions on code ownership. Every system we build should be fully understood by the client's team. It must be maintainable and operable without our ongoing involvement. This principle shapes every decision, from framework selection to documentation. If a client cannot run, modify, and deploy their system without us, we have failed.

Leadership Approach

My leadership style centers on hiring experienced professionals. I give them clear context about goals and reasoning. Then I trust them to determine how to execute. I do not believe in micromanagement or excessive process overhead. Written communication and documented decisions drive our work. Asynchronous workflows respect people's time and attention.

At Oronts, engineers take ownership from design through production. They understand the business problem, not just the technical ticket. They participate in client conversations, not just write code. They monitor systems in production, not just ship features. This full-cycle ownership produces better software and more engaged engineers.

Vision for Oronts

I started Oronts because of a gap in the market. Few partners combine deep AI expertise with enterprise engineering discipline. Many AI companies are research-focused and struggle with production reliability. Many traditional agencies lack genuine AI capabilities. Oronts sits at the intersection. We build AI-first systems that meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, and maintainability.

My vision is to grow a team of exceptional engineers in Munich and across Europe. They are motivated by quality, not volume. I would rather deliver ten projects that run flawlessly for years. That beats a hundred projects that need constant patching. This commitment to craftsmanship defines Oronts. I intend to protect it as the company grows.
